The Polar Express Train Ride

November 25 – December 23
70 Main Street, Buzzards Bay

The magical Polar Express Train Ride lasts at least an hour, and you’ll see characters such as The Conductor, dancing chefs and waiters, elves, and even Santa himself! Full bar available and free parking at the venue. Standard, First Class, and Premium Class tickets are available.

Giants Light Sculptures

November 25 and beyond
Up and down Route 6A, Sandwich

Artist Michael Magyar does something truly special. He uses Christmas lights and metal rebar to fashion these literal giant sculptures that tower (14-20 feet) along Route 6A. The lighted sculptures highlight the businesses and organizations of the town. The lights start to shine the Friday after Thanksgiving. Magyar ensures that his sculptures stay put in Cape Cod!

Canteen Holiday Market

November 25 – January 2
225 Commercial Street (Historic District), Provincetown

The Canteen Holiday Market takes place each weekend after Thanksgiving and before New Year’s Day. Here is the place to do some holiday shopping! Enjoy live entertainment while sampling festive food and drink. Check out the Living Room Bar with its cozy sofas and seasonal decor.

Provincetown Lobster Pot Tree

November 26 and beyond
Lopes Square, Provincetown

Back in 2004, the creative mind of artist Julian Popko came up with the idea to create a Christmas tree out of lobster pots and other ocean fishing details. Now the Provincetown Lobster Pot Tree stands about two stories tall and is fashioned from 120 lobster traps, buoys, and lights! You’ve gotta see it! The tree stays up for a month and a half in Lopes Square.

Falmouth Holidays by the Sea Weekend

December 2 – December 4
20 Academy Lane, Falmouth

This Holidays by the Sea Weekend is bursting with holiday cheer! Get into the festive spirit by caroling at the Nobska Lighthouse. The 11th annual Jingle Jog race burns some of those extra holiday calories. And no holiday celebration would be complete without the appearance of Santa! Santa comes by boat (of course!) into Falmouth Harbor.

Chatham’s Christmas by the Sea Stroll

December 9 – December 11
Town of Chatham

The twinkle lights will fill your heart with gladness, as you take in the town’s holiday party — Christmas by the Sea Stroll. A light parade stretches from Carmine’s Pizza to Kate Gould Park. Take a little break from your strolling to hop on the Holly Trolly to ride through town. The trolly will pick you up at the Community Center at Cross and Main. Tree lighting and Santa sightings are exciting moments!
